Baby Playgroup at 1 Year Old

We've met with this group of babies several times over the past year since they were all very tiny so it was so much fun to see them all now at a year old.

Madeline and I took a couple trips to the park recently when we had nicer weather. We met up with some people from our mom's group on one of the trips then Madeline and I had a trip with just the two of us on another day.

At first Madeline crawled all around the blanket but wouldn't crawl off, like there was an invisible fence around it. Then she just went for it!

St Patty's Fun

Over the weekend we went to our local St Patrick's day parade. It was Madeline's first parade. She did well, didn't get too bored. She enjoyed watching people, especially the kids.


On St Patrick's Day we met a friend out and enjoyed the nice weather by going to the park.

First Birthday Party!

Madeline's official birthday is December 26 but since she was a preemie and her due date should have been March 13 we had her first birthday party this past Saturday. We had a few people over and Madeline "tasted" her cake (didn't eat much) and we helped her unwrap some presents. Here are some pics from the day...

Grandma bought some cute bunny ears for Madeline so we had a little fun with the dog. Madeline just couldn't leave them alone!

A New Experience

We had a nice warm day recently so we headed out to the park. It was Madeline's first experience with sitting in the grass. She was so young last summer that I always kept her in the stroller or on a blanket when at the park. She really liked her new experience. She pulled up alot of grass with her hands and even tasted it a time or two.

We met up with a couple friends there too!
