Fall Leaves

This past weekend Madeline and I took a trip to the country to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Mads had a great time exploring out in the leaves. I'm glad she gets to experience both the city and the country.

In the photo below Mads is checking out grandpa's shooting targets. She called them "swings". I guess they do swing.

I also took several videos of her playing out in the leaves....

The Greatest Show on Earth???

Yes, we did it...took our 20 month old to the circus. Woo, we barely made it out of there alive! It was quite a wild night, Madeline wouldn't sit still for a second. After kicking the lady in front of us in the head, throwing her sippy cup with an arm like an NFL player, making mom and dad sweat profusely after taking turns chasing her around the Sprint Center while the other watched the show, and just annoying everyone around us in general, we decided to leave during intermission. Yeah, don't think we'll try that again for a couple of years, boy did we learn our lesson!

We did get a couple cute pics though!

My First Etsy Purchase

I'm so excited to announce that I made my first Etsy purchase today! A friend told me about this site and I can't believe that I haven't looked at it until now. There are so many cute things! Thanks Allison. (I'm sure my husband thanks you too, ha!)

Anyway, this was my first purchase. I'm getting Madeline's name on a pumpkin shirt for fall. I love it!

My Big Girl!

I just love these new pictures of Madeline and had to show them off. She looks like such a big girl in these pictures!!!! My baby is growing up!

Ok, she's a little too small for the tricycle just yet but I got a great deal on it at a consignment store! Can't wait to take it out next summer!

A Day At The Zoo....

Madeline and I recently took a trip to the zoo with our playgroup. It was Madeline's second trip to our local zoo this summer. We saw the Australia region the last time so decided to check out the Africa exhibit this time around.
Our little monkeys checking out a real one (it's actually a chimpanzee).

The chimp. We also got to see a mama chimpanzee with a baby chimp riding on it's back. That was too cute!

Zebra and giraffe...
