Fun in the Sand

Madeline's aunt & uncle and cousins came up today to swim and play some sand volleyball. The older kids (& adults) played v-ball and the little ones had some fun in the sand too! Madeline loves the sand and I even caught her making sand angels on her tummy in the sand today. She had a blast!

Playing in the sand.

This is a friend of ours who played with Madeline and her cousins.

Cousins Ava and Abram were on the left. They liked the sand too!

Not sure what she was doing here.

Abram loves his big sister Ava.

A Day at the Children's Museum

Recently my mother and I took Madeline to a local children's museum. They had several exhibits there. It was ok but it could have been better. We did get a few pics though. They had a little garden exhibit as shown above. The kids could pick carrots, onions, strawberries, etc from the garden.

Madeline did love the miniature shopping carts. She got to go grocery shopping.

Not sure what the purpose of this exhibit was???

The above exhibit was a part of their motion exhibits. They had pails of ping pong balls that kids could roll down various tracks.

The garden outside was cute.

I really love the tea cup idea for the garden! Too cute!

Madeline and grandma making their way through some tall grasses in the garden.

It's Peter Rabbit! We have this book so it was fun to see him in the garden!

Birthday Party Fun

Madeline was invited to her friend Olivia's birthday party which we went to today. Madeline has been at grandpa and grandma's house for awhile so she was so excited to play with some kids again.

She got to do a little coloring.

She was such a big girl sitting with the older kids.

She loved the chocolate birthday cake. Who doesn't right???

Checking out her balloon.
We had such a fun time today. Happy Birthday Olivia!

Party Girl!

Madeline and I went to a kids concert a couple weeks ago. She looked so cute in her piggy tails and tulle skirt. She really didn't get into the music much though but we had a great time playing.

She mostly wanted to eat her snacks.

And so did her friend from our playgroup.

Madeline is so good about sharing, especially for being an only child.

I just love her piggy tails!

She really liked this big wheel and wanted to ride it even though she was a wee bit small for it.

Vintage Pearl Necklace

I don't usually do plugs or advertise but I just love these necklaces I found on Etsy several months ago, so simple and beautiful. I'm so very excited that I finally got to order mine this past week with Madeline's name! I can't wait to get it in the mail. You can check them out online here...http://www.thevintagepearl.com
