On a nice warm day recently I took Madeline to a park that had a sand volleyball court so that she could play in the sand!
We took her pail and shovel and little rake.
She had a great time digging around...
Collecting rocks...
And trying to make a sand castle...
Sure was a simple, fun, and cheap playdate! 
Today I took Mads to a local art center called Kaleidoscope. It's an awesome place to hang out for a couple of hours and let kids be creative and the best part is that it's FREE!!!!
After Madeline painted she got to put her artwork through the paint dryer. She was anxiously awaiting her finished piece of art.

This big colorful chair makes me think of Alice in Wonderland. The whole place was bright and colorful.
Next Mads did some coloring and stickers.

Actually she's probably used to that! Ha!
There were kids of all ages there today. Mads looks so little here. It was definitely a fun place and we'll be going back for sure.
Mads and I met my sister-in-law and her family today for a St Patrick's Day parade. Mads was dressed in her green for the occasion.

Today Madeline and I got together with our playgroup for a St Patrick's Day craft. Mads got to decorate a green hat with stickers then make a Fruit Loops necklace. And we had some yummy cup cakes too!

Mads had a fun playdate this evening with her cousins Ava and Abram. They came over to visit so they had to have a bounce in Madelines new moonwalk. They had a blast!
We have tons of balls in there so Madeline always says she's having a "ball party"!

Yeah, she finally looked at the camera. Of course I couldn't get them both to look at me at the same time. They were just too busy for me!
