Happy, Happy Halloween Everyone!

Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you had a great one! We really had a fun and busy day today. It started with a Tupperware party at 9:30 this morning. Madeline went with me so I could show her off to some of my coworkers from my previous life in corporate America. Next we had a 1st birthday party to attend which was fun being on Halloween and getting to see the kiddo's (and adults) in costume.

This evening Madeline got to trick-or-treat for the first time. She will be 2 years old in 2 months so she didn't really understand the whole concept but we went with some friends who have an older daughter so she taught Madeline the ropes! By the end Madeline was knocking on peoples doors and was all excited about getting these small colorful packages full of something she knows nothing about (candy, shhh don't tell, wink, wink). Anyway she had a ball!

Daddy carved Madeline a jack-o-lantern today. Good job Daddy!

One Cute Chick!

This past weekend we went to a local Halloween event and dressed Madeline up in her chick costume. We got to wear it again for one Halloween party this week and we have another one on Friday so we're going to get plenty of use out of it!

Fall Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

We had some wonderful weather today (low 60's and sunny) so my mom and I decided to head out to a local pumpkin patch with Madeline. She got to check out the pumpkins and animals, play at a playground area, and take her first hayrack ride.

During our outing we also stopped at a nursery to check out the mums and pumpkins. The above photo and the photos below show all of the neat gourds, pumpkins, and indian corn we saw at the nursery.

Madeline & Ava Having Fun

Over this past weekend we spent a couple days with Madeline's cousins. The first couple of pictures are from Friday night, then we went back down on Sunday for Ava's sister's birthday party. Madeline and Ava are only a year apart and have so much fun together. Here are the pics of them playing...

This is one of my favorites of the girls together. You can tell they really like each other. I hope they will be best of friends throughout their lives...
