Over Labor Day weekend this year my mom, Aunt Roxie, Madeline, and I took a short trip to Omaha to visit the zoo. We've been meaning to get there for a couple years now - it was totally worth the trip. Omaha is a gem of a town. We spent a full 6 hours at the zoo on Saturday, went to the Omaha Children's Museum and spent some time in the Old Market district where they have restaurants, stores, etc. Here are a few pics from the zoo portion of our trip...
